The unique Dynamic Spinal Therapy was developed in the 1980s by Rolf Ott, in Switzerland. He has invented a so called “swinging, air-filled cushion” which plays a significant role in Dynamic Spinal Alignment Therapy. The pillow is used in supporting to relax muscles, joints and regenerating connective tissue structures. It also supports neuro muscular relief.
How it works
The client is positioned safely on the pillow and lies face down on the Swiss therapeutic cushion, resting like a person floating in water. This position offers complete relaxation. The body is gently rocked in several different ways, the soft rhythmic motion promotes regeneration of the intervertebral discs and increases blood circulation. The basics of anatomy biomechanics and the development and treatment of poor posture are also part of the treatment. Clients will be informed of side effects and contraindications before the start of the balance.
The treatment promotes relaxation and may realign the spine in a gentle, non-invasive, light way. The just-stretched muscles get reprogrammed, and the rocking moves the joint helping to build them.
The therapy is applied for joint problems, migraines, arthritis, foot conditions lumbago, herniated disks, spinal nerve irritations, scoliosis, scoliosis, scoliosis, scoliosis, sciatica, psychological problems, stress, and many more. Treatments usually take 30-40 minutes.
